eWhat’s up Woze community! Welcome to issue #2023-003, the third in the books🔥

✦ The $10,000,000,000 “Bing” Bang
✦ The MidJourney of Video Generative AI
✦ I’m getting “Bard” of this…
✦ and the AI VA for teachers - AI.TA!
ℹ️ If you find interesting things on the web that I should include, tweet me @emergingtechguy , message me on LinkedIn, OR email me at [email protected] including the '🗞' emoji in the subject line.
Now, get your boards ready and let’s ride the tide! 🏄♂️
1. Micro “Bing” Bang
In issue #001, two weeks ago exactly, we covered one of the biggest partnerships around Artificial Intelligence.

Microsoft Bing
A whooping $10,000,000,000 🤑 multi-year move between Microsoft and OpenAI, the creators of ChatGPT.
Since then, Micro-GPT alliance has spurred the revamp one of the not-so-used browsers (imo) with a GPT touch (like the Midas touch, get it😀).
Take the new Bing for a spin, and let me know your thoughts about it!
2. The MidJourney of Video Generative AI
Generative AI has been on a bull run since about October 2022, where we really saw some apps like Pieter Level’s interiorai.com and Danny Postma’s profilepicture.ai become some of the trailblazers of the trend. It even earned them $100,000 in the matter of a few weeks!

Gen-1 by Runway ML
Gen-1 by RunwayML is coming soon - an AI model that can generate new videos from existing ones. They call it “Video to Video”.
I suggest checking out their explainer on their site (it’s only 1min 50 secs long).
But, here is a quick break down of Gen-1’s capabilities:
✦ apply the style of an image OR a text prompt to the target video (see GIF above)
✦ compose a scenes with mock footage
✦ get creative by modifying video subjects with text prompts
✦ transform your 3D renders into realistic outputs
✦ make the model yours by fine-tuning it with your own visuals!
It seems that like its image counterpart, MidJourney, Gen-1 will be the trailblazer of Video Generative AI.
Midjourney, alongside Stable Diffusion (another AI art generator), are a few of the most talked about AI art generators.
The company behind Stable Diffusion, Stability AI, is being sued by Getty Images for training their models on 12+ million Getty photos, as they say.
You can follow read about it over at Reuters.
This comes after many artists rallied against AI art generators online back in December.
We covered this in #001 if you want to check it out.
3. I’m getting “Bard” of this
Well, it seems that Google has finally made a move - the AI race is fully on 🔥
It is rumoured that Google’s ChatGPT version will coming out soon.
In fact - they’re even doing a live stream right now on YouTube!
It comes after it was recently announced that Google invested $300M into Anthropic, a startup that we covered in issue #001 due to their Prompt Engineering role going live for a whooping $250K-$335K!
4. the AI VA for teachers - AI.TA!
While digging through the Twitter crates, I stumbled upon AI.TA, or AI Teaching assistant by Brandon Garcia.
Excited to introduce our hackathon project from @MiamiHackWeek
🍎🧠 AI.TA - AI Teaching Assistant 🧠🍎
Tell your TA what lesson you're planning and it instantly generates lesson plans, google slides, quizzes, and even an audio presentation of the content. Let's dig in 👇

It’s fascinating seeing so many products flood the space like this!
Tools like these can bring many benefits, efficiency being at the very top.
What do you think of this? Let me know your thoughts!
Here are the top 3 newsletters I’d recommend for the week:

Developer’s Corner
This week I’ve been working on my UI design system, which I’ve been neglecting for 2 months to work on other things + I took a hard-headed route by trying to implement certain functionality from scratch😅
I’ve also been revamping things with my website like: positioning, services and more. I’ve been taking my time with it since I don’t want to rush it.
GPT2Markdown amassed 278+ users in its first two weeks of digital life! There’s even more since these are those on Chrome - because I haven’t pushed the extension to Microsoft Edge (it’s been a pain) others have had to install it manually.

This is the year I focus on content heavy - hence why I started this newsletter.
Over the weekend, I created my content flywheel system in Notion in 2 hours.

Content Flywheel SystemMy Content Flywheel System
Through this I create my newsletter then repurpose into tweets and threads that can be cross published to LinkedIn. I don’t want to make this too long, but here’s what I allows me to do:
Track my metrics for Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube and email newsletter
Breakdown of my content pillars and subtopics with them (what I talk about online)
Knowledge databases to track the latest news in emerging tech, quotes from creators & individuals I like / look up to, capturing personal anecdotes I can blend with my content, and storing extensive research I do
Timetable with slots for the time a piece of content is meant go out
Create my newsletters
Create repurposed content within the newsletter page as the databases for #5 and #6 are connected
Swipe files for the formats that suit the my 3 pillars of content (emerging technology, self growth and one-person businesses)
Mini CRM because it gets hectic managing relationships
I haven’t put the system in full motion yet - but you will see it when I do.
Right now, I’m creating my own swipe files deck.
And yes, I’m starting my Youtube channel too!
I’ve got 2-3 projects out my list that I want to focus on - I’ve already started writing the drafts for launching them on Product Hunt and will starting development soon.
They are both Notion related products, one targeting online writing, while the other is geared toward online learning through flashcards.
Would you be interested in helping me during the development process? Let me know as I’ll be reaching out soon for beta users.
That’s it for today, crew 👋
See you next Wednesday :)
